Scheduling posts
Learn how to schedule posts to X with lucette.
Schedule for a specific time
- Type your post in the composer
- Click "Schedule Post"
- Pick your date and time
- Click "Schedule"
Your post publishes at the exact time you selected.
Scheduling windows
Free plan: Schedule up to 14 days in advance. Minimum 1 hour between posts.
Plus plan: Schedule up to 60 days in advance. Minimum 15 minutes between posts.
Timezone
All times are shown in your timezone. Set your timezone in Settings → Timezone. lucette automatically converts times when you travel or change timezones.
Post intervals
lucette enforces minimum intervals between posts to keep your posting natural:
- Free: 1 hour minimum
- Plus: 15 minutes minimum
If you try to schedule posts too close together, lucette will show a warning and suggest a later time.
Editing scheduled posts
- Find the post in your Queue
- Click the edit icon
- Change the content, media, or schedule time
- Click "Save"
Deleting scheduled posts
- Find the post in your Queue
- Click the delete icon
- Confirm deletion
Note: This only removes the post from lucette. If it's already published on X, you'll need to delete it there too.
Posting immediately
To post right away:
- Type your post
- Click "Post Now"
- Your post publishes immediately to X
Daily limits
Free plan: 3 posts per day maximum.
Plus plan: Unlimited posts per day.
Your daily count resets at midnight in your timezone.
What happens when a post publishes
- lucette publishes your post to X at the scheduled time
- The post moves from "Scheduled" to "Published" in your queue
- You can view the post on X by clicking the link
Failed posts
If a post fails to publish:
- It appears in the "Failed" tab
- Click the retry icon to try again
- lucette will also automatically retry failed posts
Common reasons for failures:
- X API temporary issues
- Network connectivity problems
- X account issues
Tips
- Plan ahead: Schedule posts for the week ahead
- Use intervals: Space posts naturally for better engagement
- Check timezone: Make sure your timezone is set correctly
- Review queue: Check your scheduled posts regularly
