Scheduling posts

Learn how to schedule posts with lucette.


Schedule for a specific time

  1. Type your post in the composer
  2. Click "Schedule Post"
  3. Pick your date and time
  4. Click "Schedule"

Your post publishes at the exact time you selected.

Scheduling windows

Schedule up to 14 days in advance. Minimum 1 hour between posts.

lucette is in private beta. These limits are the current defaults and may change as the product evolves.

Timezone

All times are shown in your timezone. Set your timezone in Settings → Timezone. lucette automatically converts times when you travel or change timezones.

Post intervals

lucette enforces a minimum interval between posts to keep your posting natural. The minimum is currently 1 hour. If you try to schedule posts too close together, lucette will show a warning and suggest a later time.

Editing scheduled posts

  1. Find the post in your Queue
  2. Click the edit icon
  3. Change the content, media, or schedule time
  4. Click "Save"

Deleting scheduled posts

  1. Find the post in your Queue
  2. Click the delete icon
  3. Confirm deletion

Note: This only removes the post from lucette. If it's already published on your connected platform, you'll need to delete it there too.

Posting immediately

To post right away:

  1. Type your post
  2. Click "Post Now"
  3. Your post publishes immediately to your connected platform

Daily limits

3 posts per day maximum. Your daily count resets at midnight in your timezone.

What happens when a post publishes

  1. lucette publishes your post to your connected platform at the scheduled time
  2. The post moves from "Scheduled" to "Published" in your queue
  3. You can view the post on your connected platform by clicking the link

Failed posts

If a post fails to publish:

  1. It appears in the "Failed" tab
  2. Click the retry icon to try again
  3. lucette will also automatically retry failed posts

Common reasons for failures:

  • Platform API temporary issues
  • Network connectivity problems
  • Connected account issues

Tips

  • Plan ahead: Schedule posts for the week ahead
  • Use intervals: Space posts naturally for better engagement
  • Check timezone: Make sure your timezone is set correctly
  • Review queue: Check your scheduled posts regularly
