Let it Flow

"Let it Flow" automatically schedules your posts at natural, optimal times.

What is "Let it Flow"?

"Let it Flow" is lucette's automatic scheduling feature. Instead of picking exact times, you let lucette choose the best times for your posts.

How it works:

  • Schedules 1-3 posts per day (you choose the frequency)
  • Posts spaced at least 3 hours apart
  • Natural times (9 AM - 6 PM in your timezone)
  • Quarter-hour intervals only (2:00 PM, 2:15 PM, etc.)
  • Respects your daily posting limits and minimum intervals

When to use "Let it Flow"

Perfect for:

  • Multiple posts: When you have several posts to schedule
  • Bulk imports: After importing from RSS or CSV
  • Consistent posting: Maintaining a regular posting schedule
  • Time-saving: Don't want to pick exact times

Not ideal for:

  • Time-sensitive posts: When you need a specific time
  • Event announcements: Posts tied to specific events
  • Breaking news: Posts that need to go out immediately

Using "Let it Flow" from the composer

Single post

  1. Type your post
  2. Click "Let it Flow"
  3. lucette schedules it at the next available optimal time

Multiple posts

  1. Create your first post
  2. Click "Let it Flow"
  3. Create your next post
  4. Click "Let it Flow" again
  5. lucette schedules them at optimal times, spaced naturally

Using "Let it Flow" with bulk import

After importing posts from RSS or CSV:

  1. Go to Queue → Pending tab
  2. Select the posts you want to schedule
  3. Click "Let it Flow"
  4. lucette schedules all selected posts automatically

This is especially useful when you have many posts to schedule at once.

Customizing "Let it Flow" frequency

You can control how many posts per day "Let it Flow" schedules:

  1. Go to Settings → Flow Scheduling
  2. Choose your frequency:
    • 1 post per day
    • 2 posts per day
    • 3 posts per day (default)
  3. This setting applies to all "Let it Flow" scheduling

Note: This is a global setting. All "Let it Flow" scheduling uses this frequency.

How "Let it Flow" chooses times

lucette considers:

  • Your timezone: All times in your local timezone
  • Optimal hours: 9 AM - 6 PM (when engagement is highest)
  • Natural spacing: At least 3 hours between posts
  • Quarter-hour intervals: Only :00, :15, :30, :45
  • Your limits: Respects daily limits and minimum intervals
  • Existing schedule: Works around already scheduled posts

Changing "Let it Flow" times

If you don't like the times "Let it Flow" chose:

  1. Find the post in your Queue
  2. Click the edit icon
  3. Change to a specific time
  4. Click "Save"

You can always override "Let it Flow" times with manual scheduling.
